When my son was younger, and I needed to send a treat to school with my son for his class, I would usually make this Valentine Bark. I do not like to send anything that can crumble, smush, or break because I know it will!  I try to come up with ideas that are easy for a very rough boy to transport.  This Valentine Bark is always a huge hit with his classmates!  Plus, it is so pretty!

I do love it when he gets in the car with a big smile on his face and says, “Mom, everyone loved my candy I gave them.”  Good thing because it is so quick and easy! You can make it in less than 5 minutes.

You can add any candy or cookies you like to this bark.  This is the basic recipe, but you can add more or less of each ingredient.  Valentine Candy Corn can be hard to find.  I found mine at Fred’s and The Dollar Store.
Valentine Bark
1 pound of Almond Bark
10 vanilla cream cookies (or white Oreos), broken
1 cup of pretzels, broken into small pieces
1 cup of Valentine candy corn,  save some to place on top
1/4 cup red or pink m&m’s
Sprinkles

What a great idea! It looks almost too pretty to eat, but I’m sure it’s yummy. Especially with the white oreos…

This looks really cute, I can’t believe I can make in 5 minutes. I have never used almond bars.
Did you make almonds bars as well ?

I bet your son was the most popular Valentine, ever! This is so pretty, and just as tasty! We made some for Christmas, and it’s fun to make and decorate. I bet it would be a treat for any holiday, Easter is coming, it would look cool with some pastel candies too!
