This is how easy it is to make this Pom Pom Christmas Tree decoration that I am using on my mantle this year.

The project

I knew I had an old mirror that would be perfect in red on my mantle.

Paint a picture frame.

The easiest way to paint a mirror is to find a piece of cardboard and tape it to the mirror. Be sure to have the entire mirror covered to protect it from the spray paint.

I had purchased some large pom-poms from Michaels and had intended to use them for another project but I thought they would be perfect for my Christmas tree.  If you can not find any pom poms you can make them.  The tutorial is on my Easy Pom Pom Tutorial post.

Tape the pom-poms to the mirror.

You could probably use hot glue because it should pop off when you decide to remove them.  Since I am always changing things up, I did not want to damage the pom-poms or the mirror because you never know where I will be using these next!

I found this little Christmas present ornament at the dollar store and I thought it would be perfect for the bottom of the tree.

This Pom Pom Christmas Tree just makes me happy!  I love creating Christmas decor myself.  Merry Christmas Y’all.

Brilliant Sherry, the red you used on the mirror is so vibrant and matches perfectly with the pom poms. I like the idea of using hot glue so they just pop off when you want to change things.
