Moms, there are several reasons why you need to keep the 4 ingredients in this recipe on hand at all times.  1. These peanut butter rice krispy treats are so dang good!  2. If you need to send a snack somewhere, you can have these ready from start to finish and out the door in less than 5 minutes, no lie.  3.  You can convert this recipe down to making only a few for when the kids are not at home for just you!  You know, when you don’t want to make a big pan, just enough for one. These are a hit anywhere you take them.  They are perfect for Game Day.  Also, this is my family’s very favorite snack. Yep, these babies right here are one of the reasons we have to exercise!

That’s it, 4 ingredients.  It is equal parts of karo, peanut butter, and sugar.  If I am making these for a large group, I will use 2 cups each.  If I am making these for 12 or less, I use 1 cup of each.
Pour in 1 cup karo,

1 cup sugar,
and 1 cup of creamy peanut butter.

Heat on medium heat while stirring continuously.  This will burn easily if it is too hot.

When it has melted completely, it will be smooth.  Remove from burner.

Stir in 4 cups of rice krispies.
Pour into a 8 x 8 dish. Let cool. If you are making a double batch, use a larger dish.
That’s it!  It is so much easier and cheaper to throw this together than to run to the grocery store for cookies or cupcakes when you are in a bind and need something fast.
