You can make these beautiful cupcake toppers with marshmallows and candy.

I am going to show you how to make Marshmallow Flower cupcakes!  These cupcakes look like springtime, and they are perfect for Mother’s Day!

You can make these marshmallow flower cupcakes with your favorite recipe, or you can add the marshmallow flowers to store bought cupcakes. They are quick and easy to make.

You can make your own cupcakes using your favorite recipe, make cupcakes from a boxed cake mix, or purchase store bought cupcakes, and add the marshmallows and candy on top.  Either way, these cupcakes make a beautiful display on the table.  The marshmallow flower cupcakes are so simple to make, your kids can make them.

When my daughter was younger, and she would have friends over, I would try to have something fun in the kitchen for them to do.  We would make cookies or cakes, because girls love to decorate them, and girls will love making these marshmallow flower cupcakes.

Use miniature marshmallows for the petals.  You can use any colorful small candies for the center.  I found these shimmer Sixlet candies at Walmart, and I thought that these would work perfectly.  You could use Skittles, jelly beans, or even pieces of taffy rolled into a small ball.

Roll five marshmallows out flat with a rolling pin to make each flower.  Place the flowers on the cupcake, and place a colored piece of candy in the center of the flowers.

These marshmallow flower cupcakes are perfect for parties, school activities, and I also think they will make a great treat to give for Mother’s Day!
