This is a great tip for how to remove stickers easily with no messy sticker residue left on the item.
How to remove stickers easily
This tip to remove stickers easily from an item is a great time saver. Don’t you hate it when the stores put the price stickers on the items, and you can’t get the sticker or the sticky residue off, especially at Christmas time?  Sometimes the sticker is on the front of an item like a picture. It is frustrating when I have a pile of gifts to wrap, and it takes me forever to remove the price tags before I can even start wrapping the gifts.
How to remove stickers easily

Some people love an adhesive remover for removing stickers. This works well but sometimes leaves an oily residue on the item.

Instructions

An easy way to remove price tags from most any item is to heat it for several seconds with a hairdryer.  The glue on the back of the sticker will get hot, and most of the time the sticker will peel right off in one piece.  Make sure your item is not plastic, because the heat might melt the plastic.

Lift the edge of the sticker, and point the hairdryer on the sticker for a few seconds.  The sticker will remove more easily if you keep the dryer on the sticker as you remove it. Be careful because the dryer will get very hot. It can be painful if you hold the dryer too close to your fingers.

If any of the sticky glue is remaining, it will usually wipe off with a Lysol wipe.

This is good to know when you need to remove the price tags from items like picture frames and glassware or if you need to remove multiple stickers.  If your child has applied stickers on furniture or mirrors, this will work also.

Trust me, when you are wrapping your pile of gifts, you will be happy to use this tip and to be able to remove stickers easily.

Another one of those things that seem so simple but I would have never thought of! I have struggled with the stickers forever, they leave behind a residue that collects dust and I dislike it intensely! Thanks for sharing your brilliant lightbulb moment, I will be roaming around my house with a hairdryer and an extension cord! LOL I bet my family will think I’ve lost it!!! Again. LOL
