It’s almost fall, and fall is my favorite time to exercise and to be outdoors with my family!
I have always loved to exercise, and I try to teach my family how important it is to exercise and to eat healthy. I became an aerobics instructor in the 1980’s and became a certified Personal Trainer in the early 1990’s. I worked in the health and fitness field for twenty years, but left my job a few years ago to attend Culinary School and to blog so that I can share my recipes and our home renovation projects with others. I like to encourage others to cook healthy meals, but also enjoy splurges in moderation.
I try to run in the mornings before my husband and children wake up. My children would rather me take them to the gym later in the afternoon. Our family tries to exercise a minimum three times a week.
I feel like the best way to stay on track with healthy eating is to plan what we are going to eat throughout the day, so that we don’t get so hungry that we grab unhealthy food. I know what I eat after a workout is very important. Along with water, your body needs two things, the right protein and the right carbs. EAS Whey Protein Powder has 26 grams of protein and 7 grams of carbohydrates and the Lean 15 has 15 grams of protein and 11 grams of carbohydrates. EAS is the protein supplement that can be added to an already healthy lifestyle. You can find EAS Single Serving Protein Powder Packets at Target in the Pharmacy area of the store. There is a cartwheel offer from Aug. 23rd to Oct. 31st. Cartwheel Offer
I have used EAS products for years. EAS is a trustworthy company that has been around for long time. The new Protein Powder Packets are perfect for on-the-go incorporation of protein.
I use it my homemade protein bars, my granola bars, and I always add it to my smoothies. Our favorite way to incorporate EAS protein powder into our diet is to add it to our strawberry cheesecake greek yogurt parfait. It is the perfect after school snack. My daughter and I like to mix one Single Serving Packet of EAS Lean Protein Powder into one container of greek yogurt and top it with granola. We like the crunch that the granola gives the parfait. My son does not like granola so he adds 2 Tablespoons of dry cereal to plain strawberry greek yogurt with EAS 100 Percent Whey Protein Powder.
I love that I can take the On-The-Go packets with me. We have a wonderful Smoothie Shop close to our house. I will stop in and order my favorite smoothie with my EAS Protein Powder Packet added into it. It is a great way to get my protein in when I am on the road. I find that it is very filling, and I have energy throughout the day.
One of the easiest and quickest ways for me refuel is to add protein powder to my peanut butter and banana smoothie. I usually make this for breakfast or either an afternoon snack. I add almond milk, banana, honey, peanut butter or almond butter to my blender, and it is seriously delicious.
I would love to hear your favorite way to get your protein into your diet!
