I am going to show you how I get the metallic gold look in my home without spending much money. The lamp now looks like it was purchased from a high-end store. This is my under $10 gold and white spray painted lamp makeover.

Gold and white spray painted lamp for under $10 and it looks brand new.

A group of blogger friends that I love working with, has challenged us to create something beautiful for our home for under $10. Challenge accepted! We want to show you how you can decorate your home very inexpensively and it should make you feel good because you made something beautiful.

I have a lot of metallic gold in my living space so I wanted a lamp that had a mixture of gold and white so that the lamp would stand out.

I got so excited to spray paint my lamp that I did not take a before photo but luckily I found a picture of the lamp on the internet.  The lamps were found at the thrift store for $6.99 and it said HGTV on the box. It is very heavy and it did not match my décor but I know that I can spray paint the lamp so I purchased it.

This post contains affiliate links for your convenience. There will be absolutely no extra cost to you but I will make a small commission so that I can keep my blog running. You can read the full disclosure here.

How to

I taped the top half with Frog Tape.

Spray paint the lamp with gold spray paint.

You can make a gold and white spray painted lamp from a thrifted lamp.

After the gold paint dries, I tape off the gold bottom half and spray painted the top with a gloss white spray paint. This project only takes a few minutes to tape and paint. I could not be any happier with how it looks.

The best part of this gold and white spray-painted lamp makeover is that my beautiful lamp cost me less than $10. As a result, the lamp looks like I purchased it from a high-end store. I always say that you really can get creative and have a beautiful home without putting your family in debt.
