Make an adorable Easter Bunny Garland for your fireplace. The bunny garland was made with plastic forks and a car cloth from the dollar store.

Make an Easter Bunny garland for your fireplace.

I just made this Easter Bunny Garland with items from the Dollar Store in just an hour, and it was super cheap to make.

I look forward to Fall and Christmas, but it’s downhill from there.  In fact, it is a real struggle for me until Spring. Honestly, this has been the warmest winter that I can remember here in the South but Spring is right around the corner, and that means Easter will be here soon.

Easter Bunny Garland for your home.

The Supplies

Material or burlap

Twine

Plastic forks

Furry Material

Glue

I have started seeing Spring decor in the stores, and I wanted to make a springtime garland for my fireplace.  I knew what I wanted the garland to look like, so I went to the dollar store to find some things to make the bunnies with. If I go to the Dollar Store with a vision in mind, I usually find a few things that will work.

Easter Bunny Garland made from Dollar Store Plastic Knives and Car Cloth

How To Make the Garland

Snap or cut the tops off of the plastic knives for the ears.

I found a car cleaning cloth that would be perfect for the round bunnies.  The pink plastic knives are from the dollar store and work perfectly.  I had to snap a little piece of the ends of the knives so that the ends would not show.

Cut round circles for the bunnies.

Glue the circles and the ears to the material.

Use a plastic coffee lid to press down on the cloth to make a circle for me to cut out. You could use a glass or maybe a measuring cup also.

Cut rectangles from the material.

Fold the material over the twine and glue.

I secured the garland to my fireplace like I do everything else, with Command Hooks.

Make this adorable bunny garland with Dollar Store items. This Easter Bunny Garland was super easy, and took me less than an hour to make.  Happy Spring ya’ll!
