I have rounded up my favorite 7 easy tables and benches made with 2 x 4’s. I have discovered that building my own tables and benches is not only cheaper but gives me a great feeling of pride and accomplishment. Not only did I create something beautiful for my home but something that is useful for my home and I made it myself.
2 x 4’s are perfect for tabletops and for benches. Depending on the stain or paint that you use, you can create a farmhouse style table or even a modern table. By building your project yourself, you can create the piece to look exactly how you want and what will work in your home.
These tables and benches were built by some of my talented blogger friends and these projects are amazing. They want to show you that you can build your own tables and benches too.

I am totally going to do this! Love the table you have outside, I have long wanted a nice “Pottery Barn” patio table, but not for the price!
