Welcome to Week 3 of the $100 Room Challenge! The final reveal is in one week. I am making over my son’s bedroom and I can not spend more than $100. This challenge is created by Erin from Lemons, Lavender, and Laundry. In order to stay on budget, we must get creative.
So far, I have already purchased everything for the room and I am under budget.
Room Before
Inspiration Board
This week, I finished painting the room and I did a few DIY projects for the room. I also hung the curtains that I found at the thrift store! They are lined so that the curtains keep the room dark which may or may not be a good thing for my son.
Last week, I built a DIY End of the Bed Wood Bench using scrap boards from our recent deck repair. Cost $0.
This week, I made a DIY Throw Blanket with Chunky Tassels for the end of the bed. Cost $7. I have a tutorial for the blanket.
Scored a cow skull for free.
Made cheap wall art. Cost $0.
Next Week’s Plan
Finish staining a small decor item that I made for the room.
Style the room.
Take photos.
