I have this great idea, and I hope you like it! I am going to call it Savvy Apron Friday Favorites, and I will be sharing a few things that I find during the week that may be helpful information for you. I will be sharing tips that will make our lives easier. I will share sales or good buys that I come across. I will also share a few things like DIY projects or crafts that I love. I really hope that you find these things useful and enjoyable.
The first thing that I have found this week is that Michaels Craft Store is having a fabulous clearance sale. This is a great time to purchase succulents to decorate with or to use in DIY projects.
Michaels also has some of the rustic storage crates 70% off. My location was marking some of the clearance 80% when I was in the store today.
Why did I not know about this? I just found this hack for easily peeling eggs and I will never peel my eggs any other way! Mind blown!
Have you guys noticed that many of the old crafts are coming back? Things that I made as a kid like embroidery, knitting, and macramé is all over Pinterest now. Funny that it is called “vintage crafts” and I guess that tells my age. I love all the projects Flamingo Toes creates and these retro placemats are everything! Look at the little campers on the placemats. I promise you that I will be making these soon. These placemats are especially good for gifts.
What I painted this week
I purchased this lamp from the thrift store and easily painted it with spray paint. It is definitely on of the Friday Favorites in my home now! Visit the post to see the before picture and also how I painted it.
I hope you have found some information with these Savvy Apron Friday Favorites that you can use, and I hope you will let me know what you would like to see more of. Have a great weekend!
