Pantone has released 10 colors for Spring. A few of the girls from No Place Like Home are sharing some ideas showcasing some of the gorgeous colors. You probably have already heard that the color of the YEAR is Greenery and my friend, Lynn, from Nourish and Nestle will be sharing that color with you on her blog. I have chosen my favorite color, Pink Yarrow. Once Pantone announces the color of the year, many will start using the color in their homes. I talked with a wedding florist last week, who told me that brides have already been asking for the color Greenery to be used in their weddings. A wedding planner also said that Pale Dogwood was an extremely popular color. It is close to the color some people call Blush and Nicki from Sweet Parrish Place is showcasing that color.

Pink Yarrow is one of my favorite colors to wear but it is also a gorgeous color to use in our homes. Pantone.com describes the color as Tropical and festive, Pink Yarrow is a whimsical, unignorable hue that tempts and tantalizes. Bold, attention getting and tempestuous, the lively Pink Yarrow is a captivating and stimulating color that lifts spirits and gets the adrenaline going. When Pantone announces a color, you will start seeing it everywhere from the runways, in weddings, and into our homes.
I was making a spring flower arrangement for my home and I chose roses that are the color Pink Yarrow. I have been reading how Pink Yarrow goes well with the color Greenery and you can really see how beautiful it looks in this floral arrangement. Using fresh flowers is a great way to add the Pantone colors in your decor.
The color “Pink Yarrow” is absolutely beautiful when it is paired up with gold and white and especially paired with white fur. I think bringing this color into a home office is stunning. The pink will pop!
Isn’t the color gorgeous in this office from Classy Clutter? If you love this color as much as I do, you need to look at Classy Clutter’s blog. You will see this color in many of her swoonworthy photos.
Tip: If you want to use the color pink mixed with the metallic gold, you can spray paint items that you already have with metallic gold spray paint to save money. I do this all the time. If I can save money by painting the little things in the room, I can have more money to purchase the bigger things.
This pink chandelier would be gorgeous in girl’s bedroom. You know what the say about chandeliers, “they are the jewelry for the room.”
This chair from World Market sure would be gorgeous in an office or in any room of your home. This chair color is glorious.
I found these throw pillow covers in the color called “Pink Yarrow” on Amazon. This would be a perfect way to add the color to a room. I have been purchasing throw pillow covers instead of throw pillows not only to save money but also to save storage space. When summer is over, I will remove the bright colored cover and replace the cover with a fall pillow cover. This way, I only have to store the covers instead of the pillows.
How about this awesome Pink Yarrow iPhone case from Red Bubble? I need this! You can get cases in the other Pantone colors also.
You can bring this color pink into your wardrobe with a pair of pink sterling silver earrings. Pink Yarrow pairs well with black or white when styling an outfit.
I purchased this Sip water bottle by Swell several months ago. Even before I knew this was a Pantone color.
